[Q]: What sets your company apart from others?
[A]: Experience! Joe Cornell has been making parties happen since 1957. The current owners grew up as employees of the original "Joe" and have successfully navigated the entertainment company for the past 20 years.

[Q]: My mother/father is concerned with the volume level. Any advice?
[A]: There's nothing worse than having to yell over loud music. We are very conscious of noise sensitivity and receive very few complaints. Your DJ will place speakers above ear level and continue to monitor sound levels throughout the event.

[Q]: How far in advance should I book Joe Cornell for my party?
[A]: 10 years if you ask us! Usually 18 months is enough time to ensure you're able to reserve a specific date.

[Q]: What do I need to provide to utilize your services?
[A]: All we need is an 8-foot skirted table, an electrical outlet and guests that are ready to party!

[Q]: Can I request a specific Joe Cornell personality?
[A]: All of Joe Cornell's personalities live up to our three P's:  Polished, Poised and Professional. Should you request a specific entertainer by name, there may be an additional charge. 

[Q]: How do your entertainers dress?
[A]: We dress to match your party theme! From tuxedos to beach attire, our entertainers will always dress the part.

[Q]: Do you take breaks?
[A]: Our playtime is continuous. Once the party doors open, we are on! And don't worry about feeding us -- we'll eat after the party.

[Q]: I'm going to need a lot of guidance planning this event. Can you help?
[A]: One of the most important services we offer is the assistance of our office staff. Our experience stems from the thousands of parties we've headlined and we're happy to share it with you!

[Q]: The kids love their music, but we don't want the adults to feel isolated. Can you make everyone happy?
[A]: Joe Cornell plays music that appeals to everyone --  from every genre and era.  Please be sure to share your music preferences with your entertainer prior to your party so they tailor the event to your specifications.

[Q]: Will the DJ play our requests?
[A]: Absolutely! Your DJ knows it's YOUR day and will play songs that you request, as well as steer clear of those you have asked us to avoid. With your permission, we'll take guest requests as well, provided they fit within the music you have designated.

[Q]: Our cocktail hour is going to be in a separate room from the party. Is that a problem?
[A]: Nope!  Also, know that our “clock” doesn’t start until we start.  So we will not be billing you for your cocktail hour in the separate room.  We do suggest, however, you opt for us to set up a second sound system which allows for uninterrupted music as your guests mingle and enjoy hor d'oeuvres.

[Q]: Will you travel to out of town events?
[A]: Yes! We regularly entertain for parties in the Metro Detroit area as well as Michigan cities including Ann Arbor, East Lansing, Flint, Brighton, and Bay City.  Additionally we have performed for events in Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Washington D.C. and Florida. There is a nominal travel fee for parties outside of Oakland County, Michigan.

[Q]: Do you use signs or banners at events?
[A]: No. No way. Never.
