Steve

Steve started working for Joe Cornell when he was a 16 year old sophomore at West Bloomfield High School. It was an incredible opportunity for a young man who had previously been enrolled in the Joe Cornell pre teen dance program only a few years prior.

Beginning as a dance class teaching assistant for Joe, along with his younger sister, Rebecca, he quickly found himself also assistant “DJ–ing” on weekends at the numerous bar and bat mitzvah parties that Joe Cornell Entertainment was performing.

Doors continued to open within the company, and by the time Steve ventured off to college at the University of Michigan, he was already returning home on a regular basis to perform as "lead entertainer / Emcee" at weekend special events.

Upon graduation, in 1991, Steve and his sister purchased the business from Joe Cornell with a promise to maintain his legacy.

Many have seen Steve performing on the weekends, as he continues to stay active in the entertainment scene. Others will certainly recognize him from his national television commercials for Listerine. He continues to appear in independent films and TV commercials, and recently had a lead role in a “learn to dance” video opposite Jerry Springer and Kim Johnson from ABC’s Dancing With The Stars.

Steve is married, with a daughter and dogs, to his beautiful wife Jennifer.
